Zhumadian Vocational and Technical College | Chinese Universities

Founded in 2009, Zhumadian Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time higher vocational and technical college approved by the People’s Government of Henan Province and recorded by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. The college covers an area of 908,760.36 square meters. It has 820 on-campus teachers and 257 off-campus teachers, with nearly 20,000 full-time regular students and nearly 10,000 students in various adult education programs.

Adhering to the fundamental task of fostering virtue and cultivating talents and integrating moral education with technical training, the college upholds the "1+X+N" talent training model and the school-running philosophy of "one-centimeter change in education", and explores and practices a new vocational education model of "3+1+N" industry-education integration and science-education integration. The college has 159 on-campus training rooms and 61 off-campus training bases. It has 12 colleges and departments, offering 61 three-year higher vocational majors, 3 two-year higher vocational majors and 22 five-year integrated majors. Among them, there are 2 national key majors, 2 Henan provincial characteristic majors, 1 Henan provincial high-level major group and 22 "1+X" certificate pilot programs. It has formed six major groups, namely finance and business, education, electronic information, civil engineering and architecture, intelligent manufacturing, as well as health care and nursing. At present, the college has 26 scientific research platforms at all levels, including 4 provincial scientific and technological innovation platforms, 3 provincial popular science platforms, 15 municipal scientific and technological innovation platforms, 3 municipal popular science platforms and 1 municipal social science platform.

The college enrolls students from all over Henan Province and some provinces and cities across the country. The employment rate of graduates remains stable at about 95% all year round.
