Zhengzhou College of Early Childhood Education is located in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province. It was founded in 1954. Mr. Guo Moruo inscribed the name of the school. It is one of the first seven independent early childhood education schools established in Henan Province and China after the founding of the People's Republic of China. It is also a school involved in the cooperation project between China and UNICEF. As one of the first batch of normal schools to pass the comprehensive assessment of the educational level of the Henan Provincial Department of Education and achieve an excellent grade, it was entrusted by the Henan Provincial Department of Education to establish the Henan Provincial Preschool Inclusive Education Development Support Center, take the lead in setting up the Henan Provincial Preschool Education Group, the Zhengzhou Preschool Education Group and the Zhengzhou Preschool Education Research Institute, and was selected as one of the first batch of language and character promotion bases in Henan Province. Henan Preschool Education Group has been identified by the Ministry of Education as one of the second batch of national exemplary vocational education group (alliance) cultivation units and has been awarded the title of "Lifelong Learning Brand Project" of Henan Province by the Henan Provincial Department of Education. The school is the training center for preschool teachers in Henan Province, the provincial training base for preschool principals in Henan Province, and the training base for key teachers in vocational colleges in Henan Province. It is also the secretariat of the Preschool Education Professional Committee and the Dance Education Professional Committee of the Henan Education Society.

Among them, preschool education, as the school's flagship major and the leading major in the province, has successfully been approved for the construction of the only high-level preschool education professional group in Henan Province. The Early Education major has been approved for the construction project of the exemplary backbone professional point of vocational education in Henan Province. The school has successively cultivated and trained nearly 300,000 preschool teachers of various types for society, covering over 90% of preschool teachers and over 95% of kindergarten principals in Zhengzhou City.

The school currently has over 10,000 full-time students. We offer preschool education, early childhood education, special education, infant and toddler care and service management, dance performance, dance education, music performance, music education, Chinese language education, Chinese language, study tour management and service, English education, tourism English, applied Spanish, art education, art design, physical education, social sports, science education, computer application technology, and artificial intelligence There are 25 majors including Technology Application, intelligent Control Technology, Industrial Software Development Technology, Live streaming and operation, Digital Media Art Design, etc., covering major categories such as education and sports, culture and art, electronics and information, medicine and health, tourism, equipment manufacturing, and journalism and communication. The school has excellent educational conditions and complete infrastructure. Each classroom is equipped with multimedia teaching facilities. There are currently 702 pianos and 731 digital pianos. There are 2 municipal key experimental and training centers, 348 on-campus training rooms, 145 off-campus internship bases, and 5 affiliated kindergartens.

The school currently has two campuses, namely Duling and Xianghu, covering an area of 380 mu, with a total planned construction area of over 230,000 square meters. The total value of the school's fixed assets is 310 million yuan, among which the output value of teaching and research equipment reaches 63.155 million yuan. There are over 950,000 volumes of various paper books, 1.1 million kinds of electronic books, 5,599 discs of audio-visual materials, and more than 1,800 kinds of Chinese paper periodicals. It also possesses multiple domestic and foreign electronic periodical databases such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Wanfang. At present, the total number of broadband accesses in the school is 4.4G. The bandwidth in Xianghu Campus is 2.3G and that in Duling Campus is 2.1G. The total number of wired network information points is 5,683. There are a total of 1,860 wireless network aps, achieving full coverage of both wired and wireless networks on campus.

The school currently has 445 staff members, including 91 professors and associate professors (among whom there is 1 second-level professor and 4 third-level professors), 271 with postgraduate degrees and 18 with doctoral degrees. The school collaborates with Bedford University in the UK to launch an international cooperative education program, offering majors in preschool education and English education. In collaboration with Waikato Institute of Technology in New Zealand, an international education program is held, offering a music education major. We have collaborated with institutions such as the University of Cordoba in Spain and the University of Malaga to offer programs for upgrading from junior college to master's degree. In addition, various forms of cultural exchanges and cooperation have been carried out successively with institutions such as the Belarusian State Pedagogical University, the Royal Aarhus Conservatory of Music in Denmark, the National Academy of Music and Drama of Estonia, Hwasan University in South Korea, and the Singapore Institute of Education.
