Zhejiang Dongfang Polytechnic is a full-time higher education institution under the management of Wenzhou Modern Service Industry Development Group Co., LTD., a state-owned enterprise directly under Wenzhou Municipal People's Government. The school's predecessor can be traced back to Zhejiang Oriental Vocational College founded in 1999, Wenzhou Oriental Vocational School and Zhejiang Oriental Group Company Technical School founded in 1994.
