Xilingol Vocational College

Established in May 2003, Xilinguole Vocational College is a full-time general higher vocational institution approved by the People's Government of the autonomous region and recorded by the Ministry of Education, formed by the integration of 10 colleges and universities in Xilinguole League. Sun Chunlan, Vice Premier of the State Council, Liu Yandong, former Vice Premier of the State Council and other leaders have visited the College and affirmed the work and achievements of the College.

The college campus covers an area of 1609 mu, with a construction area of 438,500 square metres. There are 17 teaching units, including the Department of Medicine, the Department of Grassland Ecology and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and 51 higher vocational majors such as nursing and some secondary vocational majors. Practical training, library materials and other conditions can meet the needs of education and teaching. There are 16,077 full-time students in the university. The College has basically formed a comprehensive higher vocational institution with higher vocational education as the main focus, supplemented by secondary vocational education and cooperation in organising vocational undergraduate education.

The College has been awarded the "National Demonstration Unit for National Unity and Progress", "The Fifth National Huang Yanpei Excellent School Award" and "National University with Typical Experience in Graduate Employment". -In 2019, it was selected as one of the "Top 50 Universities in China for International Influence in Higher Education Institutions" for three consecutive years; in 2019, it was selected as one of the "Universities with Typical Experience in Innovation and Entrepreneurship" and one of the "Top 50 Universities for Official Microblogs in Vocational Institutions". Xilin Gol Vocational College (XILIN Gol Vocational College), founded in May 2003, is a full-time vocational college approved by the People's Government of The Autonomous Region and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is formed by nine colleges and universities in Xilin Gol League. After more than ten years of development, it has become a comprehensive higher vocational college with distinctive educational characteristics, close combination of professional structure and regional economy, outstanding purpose of moral education and strong service ability. The college now covers an area of 2,000 mu, with a building area of 443,600 square meters. It has 17 teaching units, including the Department of Medicine, the Department of Grassland Ecology and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and the Department of Mongolian Language and Culture and Art. It cooperates with Chifeng University and Inner Mongolia Normal University to set up 8 professional undergraduate programs, including pre-school education (Mongolian and Han), Mongolian medicine, nursing and physical Education (football). There are 52 vocational specialties such as nursing, thermal power plant, animal husbandry and veterinary, broadcasting and hosting (Mongolian), 35 secondary vocational specialties such as operation and maintenance of thermal power plant equipment, rural medicine and football. It has built 21 multi-functional training bases and 13 productive training bases, which can meet the needs of education and teaching. There are 805 full-time and part-time teachers, 454 double-qualified teachers, 15,428 full-time students and 126 international students in the university, and more than 50,000 vocational skills training and certification are completed annually. A comprehensive vocational college has basically taken shape, with Mongolian and Chinese bilingual teaching as its feature, with vocational education of higher vocational colleges as its main feature, secondary vocational education and cooperative vocational undergraduate education as its supplementary.
