

Wuhan College of Foreign Languages and Foreign Affairs was established in 2002 with the approval of the People's Government of Hubei Province and the record of the Ministry of Education. It is an ordinary higher vocational college in central China specialized in cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents with foreign language proficiency. These cover 12 major categories, including education and languages, tourism, finance and trade, and electronics and information. Among them, the High-speed Railway Passenger Service major is a branded professional program in Hubei Province, and the High-level Multi-language Cross-border Trade Professional Cluster has been approved as a high-level professional cluster in Hubei Province, covering five majors: Business English, Cross-border E-commerce, Business Japanese, Applied French, and International Economics and Trade.
The college has established an experienced 'dual-qualified' faculty team, currently consisting of 509 full-time teachers and 377 part-time teachers. Among the full-time teachers, 76 have senior professional titles, 441 have a master's degree or above, 1 is a State Council government allowance expert, 1 is a Hubei Provincial Government special allowance expert, 1 is a famous teacher in Hubei, 1 is a 'Good Teacher of Jingchu,' 1 is a national rail transit master teacher, and there are 2 provincial-level vocational education skill master studios, with 11 recognized as 'Chutian Skill Masters.' To strengthen foreign language teaching and reflect its internationalized education approach, the college has established international exchange and cooperation relationships with over 10 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Laos, and Ethiopia.
