Wuchang Institute of Technology

Wuchang Institute of Technology, located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is a full-time private undergraduate higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education. It has been selected as a leading university in the "Hubei Province 2011 Plan."

In July 2002, the Hubei Provincial Department of Education officially approved Wuhan Industrial College to introduce social participation to jointly establish the School of Business at Wuhan Industrial College. In February 2004, the Ministry of Education officially recognized the School of Business at Wuhan Industrial College as an independent provincial college. In March 2012, the School of Business at Wuhan Industrial College was converted into Wuchang Institute of Technology.

As of January 2025, the campus covers an area of 470,000 square meters, with buildings totaling 360,000 square meters. The library holds over 1.36 million print books and more than 3.22 million electronic books, with nearly 600 periodicals subscribed to. The institute comprises 10 schools offering 35 undergraduate programs. It has over 1,000 faculty and staff members and 12,325 full-time students enrolled.
