Tianjin University of Finance and Economics

Tianjin University of Finance and Economics was founded in 1958, and is one of the earliest universities of finance and economics established in new China. It was founded on the basis of the economics and management majors of Nankai University and brought together a group of experts and scholars who are well known in the field of economics and management from universities in North China and Northeast China. The campus covers an area of nearly 1,400 mu and has a full-time student population of over 15,800. It is a multidisciplinary university with economics and management as the main disciplines, and literature, law, science, engineering, art and other disciplines cross-pollinating and developing in a coordinated manner.

It is also a key university in Tianjin and an important base for training senior economic and management talents in northern China. The university has 3 first-level doctoral programs and post-doctoral stations, 9 first-level master's programs and 15 professional master's programs. It has a complete education system for bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, and has formed a complete and diversified talent training sequence including general higher education, adult education, international student education and professional qualification training. There are 19 national-level first-class undergraduate programs, and three courses have been selected as the first batch of national first-class courses.

The university is one of the earliest institutions in China to have the qualification of cooperating with foreign countries to hold academic education and granting MBA degrees in the United States, and the MBA program and EMBA program have passed the AMBA accreditation. The University has also been awarded the ACCA Platinum status by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
