Qanzhou College Of Techonology
In April 2009, Quanzhou Light Industry Vocational College was formally established with the approval of Fujian Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education. The school is located in Jinjiang City, Quanzhou, the famous hometown of overseas Chinese and the capital of Chinese brands. It is led by Jinjiang Municipal People's Government and co-founded by five famous enterprise groups including Macao Jinlong, Fujian Hengan, Anta, Xunxing and Aipai.
In the past 13 years, with the initial intention of serving our country in mind, we have been striving hard. With the support of leaders at all levels and under the leadership of the school board, the school respects the law of education, adheres to the motto of "Ming Dow, encourage learning and be faithful", gives full play to the school-running characteristics of enterprises, inherits Jinjiang's experience, and adheres to the school-running philosophy of "practicing value-oriented education, integrating production with education, innovating and educating people" and group education, innovating, creating and cultivating.
In the past 13 years, the public welfare education of the five major enterprises has created a new path of vocational education, and the integration of production and education in enterprise colleges has created new features. The value-added culture and group education ideas are unique, and international education is the first, and the strength, influence and competitiveness of running schools have been continuously enhanced.
In the past 13 years, the school has grown from only 369 students and 6 majors when it was first established to 600 acres of campus, with 29 majors recruiting students from 20 provinces and cities across the country, with more than 10,000 students. At present, there are five enterprise colleges, including Business School, Smart Manufacturing College, Healthy Living College, Architecture College and Wenchuang College, and Education College (Marxist College). Based on Quanzhou's industrial development, it is in line with Jinjiang's industrial layout, and is led by five brand majors, including architectural engineering technology, food nutrition and testing, industrial robots, e-commerce and animation production technology, and the provincial demonstration major of production and education integration of clothing and apparel design. Six characteristic professional groups, including digital construction, snack food, intelligent manufacturing, new e-commerce, cultural creativity, and sports industry shoes and clothing, were built, among which two cross-border high-level characteristic professional groups, including new e-commerce and sports industry shoes and clothing, were mainly built, which realized the great historical change from small to large, from little-known to fame and brand formation.
Through the second round of personnel training evaluation, the school has a national collaborative innovation center, a national productive training base, 3 national backbone majors, 2 provincial industrial colleges, 6 provincial professional leaders, and 14 provincial excellent online open courses, and participated in the construction of the national teaching resource database project of "Entrepreneurship and Management of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" and the teaching resource database project of "Electronic Commerce" in Fujian Province.
In 2021, the school was selected as the project construction unit of high-level higher vocational colleges, and became the only private college in the province to enter the provincial "double high" ranks. In 2018 and 2019, it was selected as a model school in Fujian Province for two consecutive years (the only one selected as a private higher vocational school). In the final evaluation and acceptance of "Fujian Demonstration Modern Vocational College Construction Project" in 2020, our school ranked 9th among 50 higher vocational colleges in the province, and once again became the only private higher vocational college selected in the province. For three consecutive years (2018-2020), the comprehensive ranking of the school's development potential ranks first among similar institutions in the province. Won the TOP100 of "College Satisfaction" in national higher vocational colleges (2nd in Fujian Province), and ranked 13th in China and 1st in private higher vocational colleges in 2020.
