Puyang Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College
Puyang Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College, located in Puyang, Henan Province, is a full-time public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Henan Province and filed with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
The predecessor of Puyang Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College was the Zhongyuan Petroleum School, established in 1984. In 2019, the school applied to be established as a higher vocational college specializing in petrochemicals. In March 2020, Puyang Petrochemical Vocational and Technical College was officially founded, and in May of the same year, it was approved and filed by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
As of March 2025, the total value of the college's teaching and research equipment exceeds 30 million yuan; the library holds over 500,000 books; the college has constructed 9 on-campus professional laboratories and training facilities, as well as multiple off-campus internship and training bases. As of autumn 2024, the college has 9,000 students; according to data from the school's official website in April 2025, there are more than 480 faculty and staff members, including 373 full-time teachers. The college comprises 13 teaching units, 9 disciplinary and professional groups, and a total of 67 higher vocational programs. The first phase of the campus covers 620 mu, with a building area of 250,000 square meters.
