Nanhang Jincheng College | Chinese Universities

Founded in 1999, Nanhang Jincheng College is an independent college jointly established by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and social forces. Located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, the college currently has 23,000 full-time undergraduate students. It covers a campus area of more than 1,600 mu, with a total construction area of 520,000 square meters.

Drawing on the high-quality teaching resources and distinctive disciplines of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the college invites professors from well-known domestic universities to serve as academic leaders. It engages distinguished scholars including Professor Eric Maskin, Nobel Laureate in Economics, and Professor Xia Zhijie, Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Engineering, as professional supervisors. A large number of experts and professors from military institutions and domestic "Double First-Class" universities have joined the faculty, bringing fundamental improvements to the structure and quality of the teaching team. In the past three years, faculty members have won nearly 40 national awards including 15 first prizes, as well as more than 120 provincial and ministerial awards. Achievements include one national second prize in the 3rd National University Teachers’ Teaching Innovation Competition; six first prizes and five second prizes in the National University Teachers’ Graphic and Mechanical Courses Demonstration & Innovative Teaching Competition; one Special Excellence Award and one Excellence Award in the 3rd National Youth Teachers’ Micro-lesson Evaluation for Metalworking & Engineering Training; three first prizes and one second prize in the "Keming Cup" National Micro-course Competition based on exemplary high-quality curriculum development.

Adhering to the talent cultivation philosophy of "High-end Orientation, Global Vision and Personalized Development", the college has gradually evolved into an application-oriented university of science and technology featuring aviation disciplines, prioritizing engineering, and coordinating multi-disciplinary development covering engineering, economics, art, management, liberal arts and law. It comprises 10 teaching units and offers 62 undergraduate majors (including specialized directions). Accounting is listed as a National First-class Undergraduate Major. Electrical Engineering and Automation, Vehicle Engineering and Information Engineering are Provincial First-class Undergraduate Majors, and Electrical Engineering and Automation is a Jiangsu Provincial Brand Major for Industry-Education Integration. Mechatronic Engineering, Information Engineering and English have been recognized as "Star Majors" among independent colleges in Jiangsu Province.
