Liuzhou City Vocational College

Liuzhou City Vocational College (LCVC) is a state-run vocational college which is approved by the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and registered in Ministry of Education of China. LCVC, inheriting the accumulation as well as achievement of running the college for nearly 80 years, and relying on regional advantages as an important industrial city and logistics center of Guangxi, sets the project as the leading part and endeavors to train the skilled the skilled personnel of modern integrated high technology service class, so as to adapt to the urbanization process of regional economic and social development needs. LCVC is also committed to promote the development of internationalization and nationalization. LCVC strives to build itself into the vocational college that has the distinctive characteristics, ethnic heritage and innovative services, which is based on Liuzhou,embraces Guangxi, and has a radiation effect on the ASEAN.

By means of the advantage of educational resources in relevant automobile majors, LCVC made a tripartite cooperation with SAIC-GM-Wuling Automonile Co., Ltd., Indonesia to establish China-Indonesia SGMW Automobile Department in Liuzhou, and set up SGMW Automobile Education Training Center in Indonesia. This program can cultivate practical talents for the production base of SGMW in Indonesia. In September 2016, LCVC signed a cooperation agreement with Indonesia Pelita School to establish Pelita Branch of LCVC in Indonesia.

LCVC adheres to the characteristic of internationalization and becomes the first “Guangxi Chinese Language Education Base”. Over the years, LCVC actively makes cooperation with foreign unversities, colleges and instiutions, which have sent a lot of Chinese teachers to the oversea colleges and established friendly and cooperative relations with more than 30 colleges from the United States, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries. LCVC recruits students around the world to learn Chinese, academic study, short-term skill training, and welcome the groups from all over the world to come to LCVC for visiting and cultural exchanges. Since 2004,  LCVC has started to recruit international students for 13 years, now has students from more than 16 countries, such as, the United States, Russia, Britain, Belgium, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Hungary, and Tajikistan. Right now, the number of international students has reached to 267. LCVC is the vocational college that  recruits students earlier than other colleges, has the largest number of foreign students and has the most frequent international exchanges programs in Liuzhou.

Liuzhou City Vocational College (hereinafter referred to as LCVC) has a long history of nearly eighty years and also has an abundant culture implications. LCVC has a complete management system for international students.
