Lingnan Normal University (formerly Zhanjiang Normal College) is a general undergraduate college in Guangdong Province with a century-long history of teacher education, located in Zhanjiang, a beautiful port city at the southernmost tip of mainland China. In 1935, it was renamed as Leizhou Normal university, and in 1978, it was upgraded to Zhanjiang Normal College, and in 2014, it was renamed as Lingnan Normal University.
