Founded in 1994 and approved by the Ministry of Education in 1998, Jinhua Vocational and Technical College is one of the first batch of 28 higher vocational colleges approved by the Ministry of Education, integrating the traditions and resources of six national provincial and ministerial key secondary schools, including Jinhua Normal School, Yiwu Normal School, Jinhua Health School, Jinhua Agricultural School, Jinhua Supply and Marketing School and Zhejiang Agricultural and Mechanization School, which can be traced back to 1907 when it was founded.
