

Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology is a full-time regular undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The school is located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It is a key construction university of application-oriented characteristic undergraduate education in Jiangxi Province. It is a professional college mainly focusing on cultivating senior specialized talents in creative design, engineering technology, market promotion and business management for the fashion industry.
The
predecessor of the school was the private Jiangxi Institute of Fashion
Technology established in July 1991. In February 1998, it was renamed
Jiangxi Fashion College. In April 2003, the school was renamed Jiangxi
Vocational and Technical College of Clothing and became a full-time
regular college with the qualification to independently issue national
higher education academic diplomas. In April 2011, it was approved by
the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China to be
established as a college of undergraduate higher education and was
officially renamed Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology.
As of
May 2024, according to the school's official website, the college has 10
secondary departments and offers 28 undergraduate programs. There are
nearly 15,000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students on
campus.
