National Public Institutions: Jiangsu College of Safety Technology is a provincial public full-time ordinary university approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. The college is located in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, a national historical and cultural city known as the "thoroughfare of the five provinces", and is an ideal place for students to study and live. The college was founded in 1978 and currently has two campuses, Jiawang and Yunlong, covering an area of 538 acres. There are five secondary colleges with over 11000 full-time students on campus.
Strong faculty: The college currently has 535 faculty members, including 107 with senior professional titles and 278 with doctoral or master's degrees or above. Three national technical experts, six provincial technical experts, 11 outstanding young backbone teachers of the "Blue Project" in provincial universities, and two individuals were selected for the "333" high-level talent training project in Jiangsu Province. Professional integration with the market: The college is the only vocational and technical college in East China that features safety majors and focuses on technical majors. The college attaches great importance to professional construction, guided by social development and market demand, and has established a "five major and one special" professional group: electrical, mechanical, automotive, information, commercial, and safety. There are a total of 26 training bases, 149 training rooms, 4472 internship workstations, and a total value of 94.23 million yuan in teaching and research equipment (as of 2022).
