Inner Mongolia Vocational College of Chemical Engineering
Located at the foot of the beautiful Daqing Mountain in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Vocational College of Chemical Engineering is a state-run full-time vocational college with distinctive characteristics and technical advantages in the chemical and building materials industries, which was established in 2003 through the merger of the former Inner Mongolia Petroleum and Chemical School and Inner Mongolia Building Materials Industry School.

The college covers an area of 827 mu, with a building area of 308,000 square meters, fixed assets worth RMB998 million, including teaching instruments and equipment worth RMB272 million, a library of 631,000 books, 300,000 electronic books and a complete digital campus infrastructure.
The College has 563 teaching staff, including 430 full-time teachers, 192 of whom have the title of associate professor or above, including 34 professors, 12 doctors, 242 full-time teachers with master's degree or above, and 221 teachers with double-teacher quality; there is one famous teaching teacher of the National "Ten Thousand People Plan", three experts who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council Government, and one famous teaching teacher of the national petroleum and chemical industry. There are 43 enrollment majors, with obvious advantages in chemical and building materials industries and technologies, and the college has built "a chemical specialty group with coal processing and utilization as the leading specialty", "an electromechanical specialty group with chemical equipment technology as the leading specialty".
