Henan Vocational Institute of Arts
Henan Vocational College of Art is a public higher vocational college of art approved by the provincial government and filed with the Ministry of Education.
The college has a strong teaching staff, with 648 faculty and staff members at the main campus, including 584 full-time teachers. Among them, 166 hold associate senior professional titles or above, and 29 are professors. It has set up 9 secondary colleges including Journalism and Media, Opera, Music, Fine Arts, Drama, Film and Television Art, Cultural Communication, Art Design and Dance, offering 34 majors (including directions), with over 10,000 full-time students on campus.
Since its establishment, the college has always implemented the Party's educational policy, adhered to the socialist orientation in running schools, and maintained a distinct artistic feature. With a rigorous academic spirit, it has cultivated a large number of technical experts and backbone forces who have been working on the front line of culture and art. It has cultivated a group of renowned Henan Opera performing artists, singers and film and television actors such as Liu Zhonghe, Wang Quanzhen, Wang Hui, Li Na (a singing actress), Meng Xiangli, Yang Shuaixue, Ding LAN, Zhang Li, Li Guangjie and Jiang Xin.
