Henan Vocational College of Nursing

Henan Vocational College of Nursing, referred to as Hehu, is located in Anyang City, Henan Province, and is the only medical school in Henan Province that focuses on nursing vocational education at the junior college level, and takes into account both medical technology and pharmacy education. The school is a national medical and health system pioneering and priority collective, an advanced collective in the national education system, and a characteristic college of vocational education in Henan Province.
The school was formerly known as Henan Provincial Health School, founded in 1951 as Anyang Special Health School of Pingyuan Province, and in 1952, Anyang Health School of Pingyuan Province was renamed Anyang Health School of Henan Province. In 1958, Anyang Health School in Henan Province was renamed Xinxiang District Health Cadre School. In 1961, the Xinxiang District Health Cadre School was renamed Anyang District Health School. In 1969, the Anyang District Health School was abolished. In 1974, Anyang District Health School was reopened. In 1983, Anyang District Health School was renamed Puyang Health School. In 1986, Puyang Health School was renamed Anyang Health School in Henan Province. In 2004, it was renamed Henan Health School, and in 2011, it was upgraded to Henan Nursing Vocational College. In October 2020, the school and Hebi Automotive Engineering Vocational College jointly established the "Rural Medical College of Henan Nursing Vocational College". 
As of December 2024, the school covers an area of more than 810 acres, with two campuses, Zhonghua Road and Anzhang Road, located in Wenfeng District and Beiguan District, Anyang City, with a total construction area of 282,000 square meters, 735 full-time and part-time teachers, and more than 14,800 students. There are 11 teaching and research units, 35 majors (directions), with a total value of 138 million yuan of teaching and scientific research instruments and equipment, 182 training rooms and 20 training centers on campus, and 1 national, 3 provincial and 2 municipal training bases. The library has 603,800 books and 13,658,500 digital resources, including more than 300,000 electronic books.
