Heilongjiang Sanjiang Vocational College of Fine Arts (referred to as "Sanjiang Fine Arts College" or "Longmei") is a national ordinary higher vocational school approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. It is affiliated to the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education. Since its establishment on October 2, 1980, it has accumulated 45 years of profound artistic vocational education experience. It has always adhered to the development positioning of "distinctive features, leading domestically, and oriented towards the international market". It has outstanding advantages in fields such as the integration of design and technology, animation and games, architectural decoration, art therapy, and artificial intelligence, and has formed a dual-track operation pattern of "domestic enrollment + international enrollment". It is steadily moving towards the goal of upgrading to a regular university in the "15th Five-Year Plan" and is striving to build an international brand higher education institution.
The school adheres to the educational philosophy of "three services and one cultivation" (serving enterprises, serving society, serving regional economic development, and cultivating truly value-creating finished talents for employers), and has innovatively adopted the core training model of "real enterprise projects-driven teaching". It seamlessly integrates the teaching process with the production process, laying a solid foundation for the integration of design and technology. The school has three secondary colleges (Integration of Design and Technology College, Smart Building Engineering College, Digital Animation Factory), three industry colleges (Art Therapy Health Industry College, Artificial Intelligence Industry College, Cross-border Low-Flying Digital Economy Industry College), and has dozens of project studios such as Molding Art, Digital Art, AI Technology, Virtual Reality, and Inlaid Enamel Painting. Students are required to take at least three project studio courses during their studies. All talent cultivation units in the school serve at least several local enterprises every year. All academic advisors, professional advisors, and project advisors lead students to participate in the research, production, and promotion of real projects throughout the entire process, ensuring that each student can accumulate more than 10 practical experiences from real enterprise projects before graduation. Outstanding students can independently lead teams to complete 1-3 business projects, achieving the training goal of "graduation means being able to start working, and starting work means being competent".
At the same time, the school has established multiple master classes in various professional fields related to the cultural and creative industries. These classes are taught by industry experts and assisted by authoritative experts. Throughout the process, students are guided to complete the entire chain of practice for cultural and creative products, from research and development, production to sales. This promotes the efficient transformation of teaching outcomes and helps cultivate outstanding reserve talents for the cultural and creative industry in Heilongjiang Province. The school's internationalization feature is prominent, with two international colleges (International College and Sino-Russian Joint Education College) established. A Beijing teaching practice base has been set up, and a full-time undergraduate-level "Design and Technology Industry College" is jointly built with the Russian Post-Baikal National University. This forms a dual-track enrollment pattern of "domestic enrollment + international enrollment", providing students with diversified enrollment and development paths such as upgrading to a master's degree, international further studies, and more.
