HeiLongJiang Agricultural Economy Vocational College of Agricultural Economics is a public full-time comprehensive college approved by the provincial government and registered by the Ministry of Education, which is open to the whole country. It is affiliated to the Agricultural Committee of Heilongjiang Province. There are 8945 students in school. In August 2016, it was selected as the second batch of national modern apprenticeship pilot units.

College was founded in 1958, formerly known as Mudanjiang Branch of Northeast Agricultural College, and is an undergraduate system. Since its establishment, it has been awarded the A-class first-class school by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Education, the provincial party committee and the provincial government, the national model higher vocational college, the outstanding unit of higher vocational talents training evaluation of the Ministry of Education, the advanced unit of vocational education in Heilongjiang Province and the advanced unit of employment in colleges and universities in Heilongjiang Province. Established by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Science and Technology as a national modern agricultural technology training base and an export-oriented spark industry technology training base for Russia; Now it is a national "May 4th" Red Flag Youth League College, a provincial civilized unit model college, and a national AAA-level tourist attraction campus.
