Hebi Vocational College of Energy and Chemistry
Hebi Vocational College of Energy and Chemistry, located in Hebi City, Henan Province, China, is a public full-time higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Henan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is organized by the People's Government of Hebi City. The college serves as a demonstration base for cultivating highly skilled talents in Henan Province, a model base for coal mine safety training, a think tank base for news promotion in Henan Province, an excellent learning center of the National Open University, an outstanding unit in Hebi City's public safety construction, a Caring Unit of Hebi City’s Project Hope, and an advanced collective in Hebi City's social science work.
In December 2013, the college passed the evaluation for establishing a higher education institution. The following July, it completed registration with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. In November 2024, the college jointly established the "Digital Intelligence Application University-Enterprise R&D Center" with Henan Himalaya Digital Technology Co., Ltd.
As of May 2025, the college covers an area of 362 mu, with a planned building area of 167,000 square meters. It consists of six departments and one administrative unit, offering 15 associate degree programs. The college has 28 on-campus training and internship facilities and eight off-campus internship bases. Its library houses 183,600 printed books. The staff comprises 203 members, and there are over 6,000 full-time enrolled students.
