It is one of the nine independent art academies in China. The campus covers 7,035 acres, with a total building area of 643,200 square metres, a library collection of 1.64 million books, and 31,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. The academy continually optimises the campus environment for education and enhances campus cultural quality. The campus is beautifully landscaped, blending Chinese and Western architectural styles, featuring both a European water town and a Jiangnan water village, making it an ideal place for students to study, create, and appreciate art.
