Erdos health school
Erdos Health School was founded in 1959, covering an area of 333 mu, with a total construction area of nearly 100,000 square meters. Over the past 50 years since its establishment, the university has cultivated more than 20,000 health technicians, including nearly 4,000 Mongolian medicine technicians. In 2003, it obtained the qualification to enroll Mongolian students and began to recruit students. In 2006, it became the national key secondary school and national vocational school moral education experiment base. Nursing major has become the national training base for talents in short supply and the excellent professional point of the autonomous region. In 2007, the secondary TCM major was identified by the Ministry of Education and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine as the only designated school among the ten autonomous regions in China, and community nursing was listed as a project unit by the Ministry of Health and Hong Kong Huaxia Foundation. In 2008, The specialty of Mongolian Medicine and Mongolian medicine was listed as a basic capacity building training base of the Autonomous Region. In 2009, it won the honor of "Advanced Collective of National Education System". In 2010, it was awarded the advanced collective of municipal vocational education and the advanced collective of regional moral education.
The school has 15 buildings including office building, teaching building, laboratory building, dormitory building, service building, student dining hall, hall, affiliated hospital, nursing home for the elderly and so on. There are 70 laboratories, 520 computers, 77 multimedia classrooms, 2 electronic reading rooms and 2 language LABS. Sports facilities are complete. In 2003, the affiliated hospital was established to provide teachers with clinical practice and students with in-class probation. The city central hospital, Baotou first, second machine hospital, Baotou Mongolian Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Wuhai Cherry blossom Hospital, Wuhai Mining Bureau general Hospital and the flag district hospital and other more than 20 hospitals as a fixed practice base, to ensure the production practice of students.
The school has a strong teaching staff of 230, including 6 professors with senior titles, 73 senior lecturers, 33 lecturers, 27 postgraduates, 148 double-qualified teachers, 5 chief physicians and 12 associate chief physicians.
