Eastern Liaoning University is located in Dandong City, Liaoning Province. It is the only provincial general undergraduate college with location characteristics along the Yangtze River, the coast, and the border. The university has a long history. The university was founded in 1912 in the private Anton Sanyu National High School (horticulture school). Higher education began in 1948.
