Chongqing Youth Vocational & Technical College

Chongqing Youth Vocational & Technical College, referred to as Chongqing Youth Vocational College, is located in Chongqing, the school is a public full-time general higher vocational college organized by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and supervised by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. 
The college, formerly known as Chongqing Youth League School, was founded in 1954 and transformed into Chongqing Youth Vocational and Technical College in 2006. In 2007, it was relocated from Zaozi Lanya in Yuzhong District to Xiema Town, Beibei District, and implemented the management model of "two brands, one set of teams" with the Chongqing Youth League School. In 2011, the school passed the evaluation of talent training in higher vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education. In 2016, the mass reform was assigned to the supervision of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. In 2021, it was recognized as a high-quality higher vocational college in Chongqing and selected as a high-level professional group construction unit in Chongqing. In 2022, with the approval of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and the approval of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, the school and Chongqing Education Management School will implement a comprehensive and deep integration and integrated management model, and the administrative body will be relocated to Banan District.
As of May 2025, the college has three campuses: Beibei Campus, Yunzhuanshan Campus, and Jian Tan River Campus, with the main campus being Jian Tan River Campus, covering a total area of nearly 1,000 acres; There are 8 secondary teaching colleges and 38 higher vocational majors; There are more than 14,000 students, more than 160 teachers with senior professional titles, and more than 30 talents at the municipal level and above. As of January 2025, the school has 690 full-time teachers, teaching and scientific research equipment worth 92,642,100 RMB, and a total of 112,6535 books.
