Chongqing Vocational Institute of Safety Technology

Chongqing Vocational Institute of Safety Technology is a full-time public college of higher learning organized by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, supervised by the Chongqing Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, and guided by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. It has been approved by the Ministry of Education as the second batch of national school first aid education pilot schools, the third and fourth batches of the Ministry of Education as model branch construction units for party building in colleges and universities in the new era, the pilot schools for deepening education evaluation reform in the new era in Chongqing, and the sixth batch of smart campus construction demonstration schools in Chongqing.
The school is located in Wanzhou District, the heart of the Three Gorges, with a total of three campuses: Bai'an Campus, Shahe Campus and Gaofeng Campus (under construction), covering an area of nearly 1,200 acres. There are 6 teaching units: the School of Marxism (School of General Education), the School of Emergency Management, the School of Artificial Intelligence, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing and Industrial Safety, the School of Intelligent Construction and Engineering Safety, and the School of Modern Service Management, with more than 11,000 full-time students.
