Chongqing Vocational College of Science and Technology
Chongqing Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time general private higher education institution approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is under the administration of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission and serves as a pilot unit for the modern apprenticeship system in Chongqing.
In 2013, Chongqing Vocational College of Garment Engineering was established; in 2017, the school was renamed Chongqing Vocational College of Science and Technology; in 2021, the school was recognized as a Demonstration Unit for Ethnic Unity and Progress in Chongqing; in May 2022, it was approved to establish a municipal-level postdoctoral research workstation; and in September 2024, it was selected as a Chongqing High-Skilled Talent Training Base, and in December, it was elected as the Vice Chairman Unit of the China-ASEAN Clean Energy Industry-Education Integration Alliance.
As of March 2025, the college covers an area of over 800 acres with more than 300,000 square meters of campus buildings, comprising two campuses in Shuangqiao and Wanzhou. It has seven secondary colleges offering 24 higher vocational programs, with more than 600 faculty and staff and over 12,000 students enrolled.
