Chongqing Vocational College of Art and Engineering is a private full-time general higher vocational school approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, filed by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, supervised by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, and organized by Chongqing Gangxin Architectural Decoration Design Engineering Co., Ltd., and is an international talent training base for the "Belt and Road".
In 2011, Chongqing Vocational College of Art and Engineering was approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and registered by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China [10]. On July 2, 2020, the school joined the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle University Art Alliance. On December 20, 2023, the school took the lead in establishing the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle Digital Cultural and Creative Industry Industry-Education Integration Community.
