Chongqing Energy College
Chongqing Energy College was established in April 2009 and is located in the Western (Chongqing) Science City. It is a full-time regular higher vocational college approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and filed with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. It is one of the third batch of modern apprenticeship pilot institutions recognized by the Ministry of Education, a high-quality higher vocational college in Chongqing, a construction unit for Chongqing's Double High-level Professional Groups, a talent training base for Sino-foreign cultural exchange in the field of intelligent manufacturing under the Ministry of Education, and a production-oriented training base under the Ministry of Education.
As of May 2025, the college has two campuses: the Teaching Campus (Shuangfu North) and the Education and Technology Industry Park Campus (Shuangfu South), covering an area of over 680 mu, with a total building area of 256,800 square meters. The total value of fixed assets amounts to 1.382 billion yuan, and the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 180 million yuan. The college comprises 10 teaching units offering more than 50 higher vocational programs. It employs 939 full-time faculty members and has more than 18,000 full-time students enrolled.
