Chongqing City Vocational College
Chongqing City Vocational College (CQCVC), referred to as "Chongqing City Vocational College", is located in Yongchuan District, Chongqing City, the school is a full-time general higher vocational school organized by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, is the third batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units, Chongqing software blue-collar talent training base, Yongchuan service outsourcing talent training base.
Chongqing City Vocational College was formed in 2004 by the merger of Chongqing Workers' University and Chongqing Trade Union Cadre School, and is supervised by the Chongqing Federation of Trade Unions. In 2006, a new campus was established in Yongchuan District. In 2012, the cooperative school agreement was terminated. In September 2013, the Chongqing Municipal People's Government funded the repurchase of the Yongchuan Campus of Chongqing City Vocational College, and transferred the school-running department from the Chongqing Federation of Trade Unions to the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission.
As of October 2024, the school covers an area of more than 1,000 acres, with a construction area of more than 300,000 square meters, teaching and scientific research equipment worth 128 million yuan, and a collection of 1.6 million books (including electronic books); there are 7 professional teaching colleges, 2 teaching units, and 39 higher vocational majors; There are more than 800 faculty members and nearly 14,000 full-time students.
