

China University of Petroleum (East China) is a key national university directly under the Ministry of Education. In 1981, with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme and the investment of the Ministry of Petroleum Industry, the school established the "Drilling Technology Training Center of the Ministry of Petroleum Industry". In 1983, it was expanded into the "Exploration and Development Training Center of the Ministry of Petroleum Industry". In 2005, the China National Petroleum Corporation Remote Training Network was established. In 2011, it was approved as a demonstration base for continuing education in higher education institutions by the Ministry of Education. In 2016, the former State Administration of Work Safety established the School of Safety Supervision and Inspection (Qingdao) at our university. In 2017, it was approved as a national continuing education base for professional and technical personnel by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. In 2018, it was selected as a "High-Quality Provincial Vocational Teacher Training Base" by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance.

Education College of China University of Petroleum (East China) has
deepened the cooperation between the university and enterprises as well
as local authorities, and has become an important base for continuing
