Beijing Science Technology and Management College
Beijing Science Technology and Management College is a full-time private general higher vocational college with the qualification for national unified enrollment within the national higher education program.
In May 1985, China University of Science and Business Management was officially established; in 1998, it was rated as an "Excellent School" after evaluation by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education; in 2001, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, the university became a general institution of higher education eligible for issuing academic certificates and was renamed "Beijing Science Technology and Management College", mainly undertaking higher vocational education. Long Xinmin, then Deputy Secretary of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, and Zhang Guohua, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, inspected the university and unveiled the plaque for the new school name; in 2002, the expansion project of the university (Shahe Campus) started and was completed and put into use in the same year; in 2003, the library and new teaching buildings of Shahe Campus were completed and put into use; in 2005, the university passed the "Talent Training Work Level" evaluation by the expert group of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education; in August 2007, the university completed the acquisition of a new campus in Shahe Higher Education Park, covering an area of 197 mu, and the Department of Business Administration and the Department of Computer Application Technology moved into the new campus.
As of June 2025, the university covers an area of approximately 120 mu, with a building area of nearly 110,000 square meters; it has 7 secondary colleges, offering 12 higher vocational majors and 15 professional directions. As of December 2023, the total number of students in the university is 595.
