Baoji Sanhe Vocational College
The college is located in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, which is known as the hometown of Emperor Yan, the land of bronze ware, and a major industrial town in western China. The campus covers an area of nearly 400 mu, with a total construction area of 120,000 square meters. The value of teaching instruments and equipment is more than 18 million yuan. There are 8 on-campus training bases (centers), and 53 off-campus training bases established with industry enterprises inside and outside the province, such as the 987th Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, Geely Group, Hande Axle, the 986th Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, the 941st Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, and Dahua Group. The total collection of library resources is 346,000 volumes.
The college has 8 functional departments including the Party and Government Office, Academic Affairs Office, Personnel Office, Enrollment and Employment Office, Finance Office, Logistics Support Office, and Cooperative Education Office, as well as 3 secondary colleges (College of Medicine and Nursing, College of Mechanical and Electrical Automobile, College of Artificial Intelligence) and the Department of Public Teaching. It offers 7 majors such as Nursing, Mechatronics Technology, Automobile Manufacturing and Testing Technology, Railway Transportation Operation Management, Artificial Intelligence Technology, Building Fire Protection Technology, and Tourism Management.
There are 127 full-time teachers and 23 part-time teachers. Among them, 36 have master's degrees, 3 have doctoral degrees, 28 have associate senior titles, 17 have senior titles, 4 are third-level professors, and 40 are "double-qualified" teachers. At present, there are 3,500 full-time students.
The quality of running the school is reliable. It enrolls students in 16 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions), with an employment rate stable above 80%, the rate of entering undergraduate programs through upgrading examinations remaining above 95%, and the passing rate of the nurse qualification certificate examination being 90%.
