Anhui Finance & Trade Vocational College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Anhui Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. It was founded in 1964 and has always adhered to the school motto of "learning with integrity and integrating knowledge with practice". It actively provides talent support to serve national strategies, integrate into regional development, and promote industrial upgrading.

The college currently has three campuses, namely Feicui, Shushan, and Heping, with a total campus area of nearly 1000 acres. It offers 42 majors in six major categories: management, engineering, economics, literature, art, and agriculture. Among full-time teachers, over 50% hold senior professional and technical titles, and over 70% are "dual teacher" teachers. This includes one national level vocational education teacher teaching innovation team, one academic and technical leader in Anhui Province, one reserve candidate for academic and technical leaders in Anhui Province, 15 provincial-level professional leaders, 19 provincial-level teaching masters, 25 provincial-level teaching newcomers, and 19 provincial-level teaching teams.

The college strengthened the Party's overall leadership over career development, firmly established the school running direction of market-oriented, service development and employment promotion, continued to deepen the reform of the talent training mode of "integration of industry and education, school enterprise cooperation", achieved new breakthroughs in the national textbook construction award, national vocational education teachers' teaching innovation team, etc. In the past three years, teachers and students participated in the national vocational college skills contest, teaching ability contest, "Internet+" college students' innovation and entrepreneurship contest and other three national competitions and won the top prize in the province, successfully undertook the functions of the provincial party school (Anhui Administrative College) in general higher education, and worked hard to promote the high-quality development of various undertakings.

During the "14th Five Year Plan" period, the college will continue to consolidate and improve the achievements of local skilled high-level university construction, focus on the "double high plan" and higher level goals, comprehensively improve the quality of talent training and the level of school management, focus on serving the national strategies such as the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, the "the Belt and Road", rural revitalization and the construction goals of "three regions and one district" in Anhui Province, and actively contribute to vocational education in the new journey of comprehensively building a socialist modern country.
