Founded in 1997, Wuchang University of Technology is a full-time undergraduate university with coordinated development of science, engineering, management, economics, literature, art, law, medicine and other disciplines. The university is located in "Wuhan • China Optics Valley", covering an area of 828,100 square meters, with a building area of 444,000 square meters. It is located at the foot of the beautiful Menan Mountain, surrounded by Tangxun Lake, the largest urban lake in Asia, on three sides. The European-style buildings are hidden in the green mountains and rivers, and the picturesque scenery is one of the top ten campuses with beautiful lake scenery in China.

There are 180 first-class professional laboratories with functions covering various disciplines.
